Finished in Nuovo Giallo Fly Yellow (20-Y-191) with a Nero interior, this particular Ferrari 246 GT had been with its previous owner for some twenty years and as such is fresh to market, a superb and unmolested example that has been cared for as required to keep up to standard at all times. It is accompanied by a substantial history file containing Maranello Concessionaires early history and copies of original order from the factory.
Fitted with the desirable Campagnolo wheels and with the seats having just been retrimmed by Ferrari specialists together with a mechanical inspection just completed, the Dino presents extremely well. It's fitted with electric windows and a period eight-track cartridge player.
Delivered on November 1, 1973 by Pennine Motors Harrogate to Mr GI Morgan of Abercarn, Wales, chassis 06744 was then sold to it’s second keeper a Mr WC of Uckfield in Sussex from Modena Engineering Ltd in March 1978 with under 12,000 miles. During the 1980’s Mr C had Modena carry out a restoration during which 7.5” wide wheels with extended wheel arches were added. Chassis 06744 was passed through two more loving custodians before being purchased by Mr C G of Berkshire in June of 2002 with 25,000 miles on the clock. She has been maintained since 2002 by former Maranello technician Neil Lucas, and now having been through our workshop at Foskers this 246 GT is ready for it’s next loving home.
Total 246 GT right-hand-drive production is believed to have been less than 500 giving this particular Ferrari an air of exclusivity and an ever increasing desirability making this an opportunity not to be missed for the discerning Ferrari collector.
