One of the most popular cars in history, the Jaguar E-Type saw a number of models and redesigns that can be categorised into three series. Series 1, of course, includes the very first model and all models of the car from 1961-1968.
This glorious E-Type was originally registered in June 1962, featuring A 3.8L engine and the more desirable flat floor.
Chassis number 860709 presents beautifully in Carmen Red with a Biscuit interior, extensive works were carried out on the car by New Forest Classic Cars in 2016 amounting to £44k. The extensive history reports on these works, as well as a full engine rebuild documented by photographs and a complete interior re-trim.
Specification includes Fosseway 22mm disc brakes, Fosseway radiator upgrade and a 5 speed Elite racing gearbox. The original Moss gearbox also accompanies the car.
As mentioned, the history is exceptional and includes an A4 binder of invoices and 2 A4 photo albums and the Jaguar Heritage Certificate.
